“A growing number of key Republicans are sending this message to the leaders of the congressional committees investigating potential Trump campaign collusion with the Russians: Wrap it up soon.
In the House and Senate, several Republicans who sit on key committees are starting to grumble that the investigations have spanned the better part of the past nine months, contending that the Democratic push to extend the investigation well into next year could amount to a fishing expedition. The concerns are in line with ones raised by President Donald Trump, who has publicly and privately insisted he’s the subject of a “witch hunt” on Capitol Hill and by special counsel Robert Mueller.”
The one word response: Benghazi
Anyone with half a brain figured David Perdue for a blowhard fiscal conservative, and now given an opportunity, he’s proving it: “I believe Corker is going to get to the place where I am: If you do the models and look at this right, it pays for itself.”
Indeed stare at red ink long enough while thinking about how more of it will fatten your own wallet, and it’s easy to convince yourself it’s black. Voila!

For the little its worth, I don’t take exception to the insensitivity of Trump telling the grieving family member of a soldier KIA, “He knew what he was signing up for, but I guess it hurts anyway.” Nearly all of us have been unintentionally insensitive at one time or another.
A difference with respect to Trump however, is that insensitivity is common, not rare, and is at least sometimes intentional.

Lets just say that I am not in the least bit surprised that he went this direction. First time I got called the N-word was by a couple of leaders from Calvary. I formed my opinions accordingly.
I can see why the Washington Examiner would be upset about the possibility of being sued for fake news since they are a big trader in it
Thank you, General Kelly, thank you for your soothing words. The disgust held for the Democrat Party will be expressed at the ballot box next November! The PC movement will be spanked like the spoiled children they are.
You may be right of course. And that would be a day when we consciously choose to succumb to our baser instincts, when we reject progress, when we choose to ignore all the lessons of history, and put fascination of winning above principle, and yes, we choose fascism over democracy.
