Happy Crossover Day!
It’s Legislative Day 28, and that means our elected officials under the Gold Dome will work tirelessly to make sure their bills make it out of their respective chambers to get a fighting chance in the other chamber before Sine Die. Some will be successful, some not so much. It’s going to be a long day, but at least it’s Friday!

White House officials said they first learned of Sessions’ contacts with the Russian ambassador from a reporter Wednesday night. Is this an administration capable of extreme vetting or what?
An education secretary ignorant of federal education policy, a HUD secretary that knows nothing about housing and more or less said so himself, an EPA administrator that is anti-environment, and now a liar in charge of the Justice Department. It’s Trump’s idea of making Amerika great again.
Don’t forget, Goodhair Perry was sworn in as energy secretary yesterday. Sounds like a perfect meshing of man and task.
Yeah, it occurred to me soon after making the comment that I omitted including an Energy Secretary that called for terminating the department without knowing the department’s primary responsibility related to nuclear materials. But that was before his Dancing With The Stars gig ended, and a six figure Secretary job was offered to him.
But hey, he’s more qualified to be Energy Secretary that Trump is to be President, so he’s got that going for him.
I’m feeling a little down today. I was pretty excited about us getting a foolproof (secret) plan to quickly defeat ISIS, but now it turns out it’s just the DoD submitting various strategies for review.
I feel so stupid. I guess there is no secret plan.
No worries. You can expect a little pick-me-up when the foolproof (secret) plan to replace Obamacare is made public.

$3 billion in profits, is that $180 million for GA in one industry ?……..it would be cynical to think there will be more wasted in corporate accounting and state administration reducing or overseeing state taxes paid to the point it would be better to have just let them keep it and spend it making more money……..

Hey Noway… Does this affect the Twitter loving Mrs. Noway? I have annoyed U.S. Ranger next store who’s German wife will be labeled as a noncitizen whos been trying to contact is House rep all morning.
Sure, it affects her. We renewed her DL last year, so it’s not on there yet. I’m not sure when we have to re-renew. But by that time, she should have her citizenship. But she has no prob with it, even if it were to be on her DL. Hell, she’s a bigger Trump fan that I am!
My neighbors annoyed because they are not always living in Georgia. He’s worried how this will be handled by out of state people or when she flies to his family with the children if he’s gone for weeks or longer.
As to being a Trump fan… I figured this. I mean, I can’t really see you married to a liberal left wing feminist…

Sessions, a member of the Trump campaign’s National Security Advisory Team at the time, J.D. Gordon and Carter Page all met with the Russian Ambassador during the Republican National Convention. The Trump campaign influenced the Republican Party platform at the convention to water down proposed language to militarily or otherwise support a free and independent Ukraine, if Russia invaded Ukraine.
Gee, why would the Trump campaign act on that issue at that time? Convention over 21 July. Hacked Clinton e-mails were released 22 July. That’s three more connected dots.
Feeding the fire was Trump going “ballistic” that Sessions unilaterally neutralized himself. Trump claiming that Obama ordered wiretaps is establishing a base-friendly narrative to counter what he fears will become public. Since we don’t know what Trump means when he uses words, Trump tweeting had “found out” about taps could mean anything from his learning that a federal judge had found cause that Trump committed a crime or was acting as a foreign agent, to the crank media that routinely informs him or getting that idea from a TV show.
Dems are obstructing. It’s all they have. Period. Dems have nothing on anything “Russia.” Trump should not take anymore questions on this. None. If press persists and will not ask any other questions, end the press conference. Trump does not have to entertain this obstructionist crap.
The good drugs are at Mar a Lago, that’s for sure.
