With the success of yesterday’s “day without immigrants” (more accurately a day without some illegals) maybe we need a year without illegals or five years without illegals.

Watergate wasn’t the problem. Deep Throat was the problem. There’s nothing new about a President complaining about leaking. Trump’s asserting leaked information is fake news is new however. Chaffetz is sticking with Nixon’s strategy. The Trump campaign and administration’s Russian connections and Russian interference in the elections aren’t problems, the information becoming is.

The couch guys are doing it wrong. You need to attach the couch to a sled or wagon to be pulled by the ATV or the snowmobile. You of course stay on the snow trails, not the open roads. At least this is legal in Wisconsin. One of the Culver’s in my hometown even has a snow lot to park if you want to eat in… These guys – armatures.
Since the states control the National Guard, this might not go so well, if it’s a REAL leak of course.

Bipartisan support yesterday for the coal miners. They love that man! Curious to see the turnout tomorrow for Trump’s rally in FL. No fear whatsoever from Trump with media. None. Refreshing to see. Not like past Repub presidents who were seemingly scared of their own shadows. Respectfully waiting for any real substance on continued Russia/election meme.
So how does this play out? There are thousands of people whose only job is to analyze, scrutinize, comment on, speculate about, and challenge the federal government, especially the president. They are producing content 24/7/365. Would you really want them to be the enemy? You can’t win that fight. Trump is not going to shame an entire industry and bend it to his will. And the incredible irony is that he is surrounding himself with the worst offenders of fake news there are!

It remains to be seen. It was Trump’s bud Putin’s first order of business, and Putin succeeded.
