  1. Tom Price a Bigger Problem than Betsy Devos.
  2. Jimmy Carter’s farm gets massive solar project. 
  3. Hopefully this ends ATL-APD Feud. 
  4. Will Sonny roll back forest protection regulation?
  5. Crack in arctic ice shelf grew 17 miles in the last two months. 
  6. Almost 64 years ago to the day, Georgia created the nation’s first censorship board. Hooray. 
  7. The Secret World of Georgian Gardens…From “pic-nics” and sea battles to naked swims and secret assignations.

    Sens. Isakson and Perdue both voted to silence Sen. Warren on the floor for attempting to read Coretta Scott King’s statement against Jefferson Beauregard Sessions III, and voted to keep her silenced after censure.
    Sessions is dangerous to civil rights, and yet he will be confirmed. HL Mencken’s witticisms on democracy are coming true before our eyes.

      1. Progressives believe this. The rest of the country disagrees.

      “and yet he will be confirmed”

      2. Because he has the votes to do so according to the system set up by our system of laws.

      “HL Mencken’s witticisms on democracy are coming true before our eyes.”

      3. Directly contradicted by point 2.

      4. “Read Ms. King’s letter here.”

      The GOP does not believe that the statements Coretta Scott King (a partisan Democrat and ideological liberal) constitute objective facts that are to be universally agreed to.

        Thank you for posting your opinions in response to mine in a civil manner.
        We will disagree.
        1. Sessions on civil rights:
        For a ban on equal marriage
        Against including sexual orientation in the definintion of hate crime
        Against the Violence against Women act

        2. Absolutely agree. Thus my statement.

        3. “We the People” are going to get what the Electoral College voted for good and hard.

        4. True, it is Ms. King’s opinion. And you may disagree with that. However, there are some objective facts in there – such as “Particularly in the South, efforts continue to be made to deny Blacks access to the polls…” True in 1986. True today. The NC Legislature’s redistricting memos make this brutally clear that this continues.
