Gwinnett Democrats Need Your Help

Via email came this:

That took me to this “two-question survey,” which asked  “1. If you arrived at a polling place and found out what the wait time is, which one of these wait times would keep you from getting in line to wait to vote.

*2. THE GWINNETT COUNTY BOARD OF REGISTRATIONS AND ELECTIONS IS ATTEMPTING TO SET A GOAL FOR A REASONABLE WAITING TIME TO VOTE FOR THE VOTING POPULATION OF GWINNETT COUNTY. IT WILL THEN ATTEMPT TO GET COUNTY COMMISSION SUPPORT TO BUDGET FUNDS TO IMPLEMENT THAT GOAL. FOR EXAMPLE, EXPANDING ONE WEEK OF EARLY VOTING TO THREE WEEKS TO HELP REDUCE WAITING TIMES AT 7 EARLY VOTING CENTERS IS A $650,000 – $750,000 INCREASE IN COST.

Please check one target waiting time to be budgeted for

The problem is that last sentence of the second question which is terrible. An increase in the early voting period would cost up to $750,000 -but it doesn’t say how much less WAITING time Gwinnett voters would get for that money. How can they be asked to budget for a wait time, when they’re only being given information about the cost of a voting period?
I hope the Gwinnett Board of Elections will disregard this flawed survey and that maybe get a professional to help them design a better one. (I’m not going to suggest anyone directly, but his initials are Chris Huttman.)
