It’s not unexpected, what with the massive establishment GOP suck up to Trump, that release of his tax returns is inconsequential.
The failure to release those returns is increasing suspicion the returns contain untoward information with news that there is intelligence that the Russians may have untoward information on Trump.
Trump surrogates will stick to the talking point that Russian interference in the election didn’t influence the election results because the unclassified and classified reports didn’t state that the interference did influence the results.
Rube news flash. The subject of the what the interference had on election results wasn’t a subject of those reports.
No worries, there will be a complete and thorough investigation of information provided the intelligence community in October that the Russians have untoward information on Trump after the Trump administration is in the cockpit. After all, we’ve got Comey, the guy that couldn’t trust his staff to not release information about Clinton e-mails shortly before the election, and a suck up GOP establishment to assure that occurs.
“…news that there is intelligence that the Russians may have untoward information on Trump.” ‘News’? Defined by CNN and Buzzfeed as ‘any information no matter lack of reliable sources that gets eyeballs to our failing enterprises.’
Rube newsflash – MSNBC just reported based on a reliable source that the story is total BS. MSNBC, not FOX. Trump was not presented with the addendum because it was nothing more than an example of fake news included by intelligence folks with the report to show difference between fake and real intelligence.
He said rube.
The intelligence pros briefed Trump on the report’s contents. That’s news.

Hmmm…is it more shocking that MSNBC is reporting it or that Bart is watching MSNBC…jury is still out on that.
Whether this particular document is fake or not, there are some dots that bear scrutiny to see if they are connected: Paul Manafort—>Russian email hacks—>Trump’s lack of tax return disclosure—> Tillerson/Putin.
I am reminded of the Dan Rather story where he used a falsified document in a story, but the substance of the story is most likely true anyway.
I love this story though. A good conspiracy- spies, secret meetings with Russians in Prague, parties in Moscow, possible salacious details… this is much better than birth certificate research.
“Eggs and issues” perhaps it should be called problems and pancakes or bacon and bull.

…or better yet LaGuardia???? I find ATL to be fairly easy to navigate. My only problem is that if you are on a domestic flight that continues on to an international destination. I was on an RSW-ATL flight that continued on to Panama City, Panama. It came in to the F concourse. It is a royal pain to go from F to domestic baggage claim. That is really the only major problem I’ve ever run into that could be avoided.

Also, I know you are old enough to remeber what insurance was like pre-ACA. Costs were rising at a MUCH faster rate than they are now…If you could even GET INSURANCE!!!
As for the wave of Mexicans coming across the border…that is drastically down. Our economy tanked in 2008. Why would they want to come here. Most south of the border immigration is from brutal governments of Central America and many of those were children who faced the choice of trying to make it here alone or be forced into drug gangs.
Riots? Guess protests are protests when TP white people hold up racist signs but riots when people of color march against quantifiable double standards in criminal justice.

Now, getting to what I really wanted to comment on…
The Silver Comet Trail connecting to the Beltline is a great idea, especially since the tracks are all now abandoned. My question would be, how much government subsidy went to CSX or companies acquired over the years to build those tracks and does CSX own the land or just hold ROW? I’d say the threat of eminent domain would certainly be a powerful tool to get them to the negotiating table. The tracks have been removed on much of the property so there is no plan to add rail lines in the future. It seems as though the railroad companies dont ever want to play ball, why? Are they holding out for a better price? 25-30 million seems high for abandoned over grown land
So regarding Trump and the emoluments clause, is it above the law or ignoring the law?
