The 100 Most Influential Georgians

Every list creates controversy -that’s kind of what they’re for- but Georgia Trend has been compiling the list of the 100 Most Influential Georgians for nearly 20 years. This year, the writers at GT “…have included many of the usual suspects – politicians, CEOs, college presidents – but we’ve also added a number of new names and faces to the list. All are people who inspire, exasperate, lead – and influence us.”

The only glaring omission is the description of Georgia’s Senate Rules Committee without the use of the adjective “powerful.”

Check the list to see if you’re on it. It’s alphabetical, so you should be somewhere between UPS Chairman and CEO David Abney and Porsche President and CEO Klaus Zellmer.
