Those protective protocols have been in place since December of 1963 for a reason. Not to mention if he just let the 3 or 4 protective press pool members follow him respectively (as they have EVERY president 24/7 since Johnson) you wouldn’t have Bloomberg and NBC trying to make their way into wherever he goes to confirm he is there and interrupting him.
Plus sheriffs don’t make the rules, they enforce the ones that already exist or others make. You need a better comparison.

Close to 100 murders in Atlanta so far this year and yes gang violence has a lot to do with it. Strangely, the “community leaders” we hear from so often on other issues are silent on this issue.

Lets just sit back and wait for all the mandated FBI back ground checks, CIA security reviews, IRS disclosures and vetting in order to be voted and approved by the Senate.
Although if the WSJ is correct, Giuliani calling out Hillary on her foreign contacts and paid speeches is ironic hypocrisy at it’s finest.
Bannon doesn’t have to be voted on by the Senate. The only FBI check that is concerning at this particular moment in time is the one that will continue on January 21st into the Clinton’s questionable activities.
I am aware of Bannon and Flynn do not requiring Senate votes. Bannon has to have a background check if he wants security clearance prior to January 21st. Not to mention he is going to be vetted publically in the media as they do any appointment.
I do think your getting carried away over how you think a Lib reaction is insane and requires professional help. It does no favors for those who truly do need professional help. Some of the reaction is no more ‘insane’ then some of the far right reactions in the last 8 years. I’m pretty sure I never called you crazy or insane over your point of view (although I did threaten to turn your alter ego into a pumpkin spice latté).
We have 62 days to settle this all out, and a lot will happen between now and then. Next week will be ‘fun’ as I have Thanksgiving with an great uncle, an actual member of a white surpremist group, my bi-racial cousins, my very Catholic mother and aunts, the cousin majoring in “Women’s Studies” at Madison, my ‘Ron Paul is a God’ sibling and my second cousin’s Muslim fiancée. They all live in Wisconsin and between the whole group of 20 plus, they voted for all 4 candidates. They all have different options, but not one of them is insane. Except maybe me -I am willingly flying up there to cook Thanksgiving for the lot of them. Thank God for brandy slush.
Actually, the conventional wisdom is that they have to have a security clearance, but in reality, they don’t if Trump were to give them a presidential waiver, ala Clinton with several on his WH staff back in the day. My point was the libs are raising hell over Trump’s supposedly having a slow or stalled start to filling cabinet positions. Per my question in this am’s reads, best I can discover, Obama didn’t name a cabinet member until Nov 24th after the election, so why all the huffing and puffing over Trump’s “slowness”?

Trump, according to the Daily Caller, has short-listed anti-Muslim conspiracy theorist Clare Lopez to serve as his deputy national security adviser. The crackpot organization she works for believes the Muslim Brotherhood infiltration has gone beyond the government to the conservative movement itself. Its biggest claim to fame is its insistence that conservative anti-tax guru Grover Norquist is a secret ally of the Muslim Brotherhood. Clare Lopez outlines her group’s various lunatic anti-Muslim conspiracies on Breitbart and on World Net Daily, so she complements the Bannon appointment.
Lopez declared in 2014 that “The Obama administration very clearly has switched sides in the war on terror, what used to be called the war on terror. And we have provided arms and intelligence and funding and assistance and NATO warplanes to help al Qaeda and the Muslim Brotherhood.”
The GOP is normalizing Breitbart and WND, so commenter Harry ought to be invited back here where his views will be at home.
