    The answer is yes.

    When I read the story about Reed using his lights and sirens I thought that people would be pissed, but a quick read through the facebook comments on that story seemed to show most people not caring or saying he has stuff to do and he needs to do this. Really was surprised.

    You know, y’all probably expect ‘ol Noway to be against Hizzonor on the blue lights thing. I saw Lori Geary all serious discussing this “breach” of the law. It was as if she’s waiting for the Pulitzer Committee or maybe even Stockholm to call. Good grief! Chicken sh*t journalism. Isn’t there any airport corruption or anything serious that Reed might be doing wrong? Has the defunct Red Dog Unit been reinstated and back shooting harmless old ladies? By the way, didn’t Ox do the blue light thing back in the day?

      Ox could have ‘legally’ used red and whites if he was on official first responder business. The Commissioner of Insurance is also the in charge of the Office of the State Fire Marshal. Granted he was completely useless at some of the large scale sites I saw him at with the locals and the city officials (post incident event)s , but he would be there.

        Did you finally recover from all of the hurricane drama? House ok? All power and internet back to normal in your neck of the woods?

          Took 16 days for Comcast to re-hook my neighbor hood. My condo and building were fine. The building next to mine had two tree take out the roof ridge. The whole building needs the roof reframed. I still have an obstacle course of firewood and branches to drive around east of the Wilmington River. The had just finished picking up the debris from Labor Day weekend a few days before Mathew. This is going to take the rest of the year to clean up.
