The college football kicks off in earnest this weekend at the Dome. Of course I am referring to when Georgia’s premier team (the Panthers of Georgia State) take on the much-vaunted Pride of Indiana (the Cardinals of Ball State).

Trump is going to Mexico. Is this supposed to be on par with Nixon going to China? Has anyone in his circus, er campaign told him that Mexico doesn’t have any electoral votes?
Would love to be a fly on the wall for the private portion of that meeting! What will Trump’s first words be?

“More than 30 activists groups — ranging from the NAACP to Black Lives Matter — embarked on 24 hours of protests at the Fulton County Courthouse on Tuesday night to bring attention to the number of black men killed by police.”

Maybe Rush can regurgitate his old Clinton material for the next 4-8 years. Or maybe he will just hook up with TrumpTV. Seems like his glory days as head dog whistle are behind him though.
And what is really crazy is that Trump can never catch up with the actual damaging activities of the Clintons to public interests.
I don’t know, Dav. Rush is at the top of his game and doesn’t look to be ripe for a fall. Even you have to admit he’s the Daddy Rabbit of his profession. As far a ratings go, I think Hannity is the closest to him. Anyway, I get your point that his having said he didn’t take Trump’s mass deportation promise seriously is disappointing to those hoping to see miles of Trailways buses heading South toward the border.
I’ve quit even paying attention to talk radio in the past year. As Trump rose to the top in the primaries and rose in the estimation of many talk radio hosts/news sites. The feeling of being lied to became more prominent than anything any host had to say.

Both/all candidates flip around on issues. As a Trump supporter, I was counting on him to alter his view about deportations and still hold out hope the wall will never materialize as advertised. Did he (and radio dudes) play some fringe supporters, sure, they all do. But anybody with a clue knows you can’t simply snap your fingers and 11m folks leave America. And if you listen to Rush, Beck, Maddow, Matthews, O’Donnell, et al for your sole source of news, you deserve to be made a fool.
Details tonight after the trip to Mexico should be interesting.
Trump is getting the ok that if he wins all the fringe democrats can move to Mexico or Central America as promised.

I thought Rubio was bored with the Senate (the reason he was not going to seek a second term), but I guess he’ll just use (if re-elected) his office to make another 2020 presidential bid. I was surprised how easily he won yesterday, given how badly Trump trounced him in the presidential primary—was Rubio’s opposition yesterday too unknown or too far right for Florida voters?
“Carlos Beruff, a far-right guy” Rubio and Beruff are close on issues. Both against Communist Cuba, want to raise ss age, secure borders… Rubio was just more popular than Beruff.

There’s constructive disagreement and solution-building, and then there’s dilatory controversy and wall-building.
