Jimmy Carter Widens Lead in Most-Awarded-POTUS-Of-All-Time Race

Lost amid all the hooplah and teeth-gnashing following Monday’s Grammy Awards was the news of the most important award: Jimmy Carter’s second Grammy! He won the Best Spoken Word Album for the audiobook of “A Full Life: Reflections at Ninety”.

With two Grammies, a Nobel Peace Prize, a Presidential Medal of Freedom award and a whole boatload of others, the 91-year-old former Prez is almost assuredly the most decorated former POTUS of all time both in terms of raw numbers and the importance of the awards he’s received. Although judging from how quickly Obama won his Nobel Peace Prize, I’m sure #44 will give #39 a true run for his money.
